BIO:
A native Angeleno, designer Elena Coleman launched TOMTOM Jewelry in the Fall of 2008 while living in downtown Manhattan.
As a formally trained Architect, with past work experience that includes California architecture firm Marmol Radziner & Associates (whose roster of celebrity clients span the likes of Tom Ford and Demi Moore), Elena applies a modern and graphical design sensibility to each stylized collection with an emphasis on geometry and material interplay.
By combining architecture fabrication techniques (such as 3D printing and water/laser jet cutting) together with traditional jewelry design, Elena creates unique and edgy statement pieces that utilize mixed metals (18k Gold, Oxidized Silver & Gunmetal), Swarovski crystals and vintage chains.
Elena holds a Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI_arc) and a B.A. in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
