Native Angeleno Elena Howell launched TOMTOM Jewelry in 2009 while working as an architect at a boutique celebrity architecture firm in New York. Her passion for jewelry design runs deep through her history as both her grandfather and great-grandfather were jewelers.

Characterized by angular geometries, minimalist design and a luxe polished finish, Elena's background in architecture is evident throughout the TOMTOM collection. Each piece is designed and manufactured using cutting edge digital design and fabrication techniques (3D printing and water-jet cutting) and is hand finished by local artisans in Los Angeles.

TOMTOM has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, The New York Times, The Wall St. Journal, InStyle and many more publications. Celebrities such as Jessica Alba, Selena Gomez, Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj and Kate Mara are often spotted wearing TOMTOM.

Elena received her BA in English Literature at UC Berkeley and her MA in Architecture from SCI-Arc. She resides in the hills of LA with her husband, two children, and a dog named Duck.
